More than a feeling
We’ve had a slew of new Felt bikes rolling into the shop over the last couple of weeks, filling up the shop floor with brand new 2009 treats. It’s safe to say that every time we’ve opened a box and put a new bike into the stand we’ve been totally stoked. This year’s Felt catalogue is a nice little publication and the photographs can’t be faulted, but they don’t come close to doing these bikes justice. The new Garmin Chipotle team issue road bikes have the slickest graphics going around, and the commuters are smooth riders across the board.

Pack it up, pack it in
There’s a fair whack of ugly as hell packaging kicking around the bicycle world. While it may not affect the function of whatever hides inside, it can have a big influence on what we buy, how much we’ll happily spend, and how we percieve a product. As such, it’s always nice to pull open a delivery and find some well packaged and well presented components. Crank Bros are definitely up there when it comes to their design department, and Dice’s Daisy Chain tin is a nice step above the standard cardboard box packaging we see with most chains.
